When I first saw this on Denise's Instagram page, I knew it really needed to be in my kitchen. :-) My husband is a handicraftsman and he was very impressed with the smoothness of the platter. I have used it on a continual basis since it arrived and I surely don't expect to set it back in the cupboard anytime soon. David and Denise treated it with a food-grade oil so it was ready to use upon unpacking. There are so many uses for this product. Furthermore, they are simply wonderful folks--kind, tenderhearted, gentle and very easy to work with. I just adore the way the item was gift wrapped when it arrived, along with a personalized hand-written note. Oh, and it arrived in a very timely manner. I will definitely purchase from this seller again! kt

Commissioned table for a customer. It was from a tree he played on as a kid, turned into a treasure for years to come. -
Hard at work using a belt sander to make sure the bottom of the bowl is flat. -
Spalted maple wood bowl with the shop name and our name hand wood burned into the bottom. -
Lots of wood shavings means someone has been super busy! We have 3 new Spalted Maple bowls to add to our listings! -
